A new video has been posted to the gallery! This performance was at a joint student show between Victoria bellydance teachers Candace Aldridge (of Harmony Bellydance) and Pamela Ball, entitled "A Midsummer Night's Recital." This was my last performance in Victoria before moving to Kelowna.
This video features students from Candace's Level One ATS bellydance class. I had the honour of sharing the stage with Candace and another of her long-time students, Caity.
American Tribal Style is a group improvisational dance, which means that we dance together using a shared movement vocabulary and cues. The performance you see in this video is not choreographed! I hope you enjoy it. Watch it here.
