Music for ATS
Music for ATS® is split into two categories: slow and fast. We dance using our fast vocabulary (Egyptian, Arabic, Shimmy, Pivot Bump, etc.) to fast music, and the slow vocabulary (Taxeem, Arm Undulations, Body Wave, Torso Rotation, etc.) to slow music. Almost all of the music we use for ATS has a middle eastern rhythm, and can be counted in 4s. You can learn more in Carolena's Music FAQ. The songs and albums listed on this page are all music that we frequently dance to in class. The links will take you directly to iTunes where you can preview the songs and purchase them for dancing to at home. Enjoy!
